Investors should refer to Appendix II, Decree 29/2011/ND-CP below to know if they need to produce an environment impact assessment report. Only environment protection commitment is required if your project does not fall into this list.
Investors are eligible for preparing the environment impact assessment (EIA) report themselves if they employ adequate number of qualified environmental engineers and equipment in compliance with Article 16 of Decree 29/2011/ND-CP re strategic environment assessments, environment impact assessment reports and environment protection plans. If not, they need to enter a service contract with a capable construction and design consultant company provider for the production of an EIA report.
